Finance Department
The Finance Department is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the fiscal stability of the City of Nashville. The Finance Department accomplishes this by maintaining the City's accounting and purchasing functions, collecting and investing City revenues, managing accounts payable and payroll, working closely with the other city departments with developing and compiling the City's annual operating budget, and reporting on the city's financial status to the city council and mayor.
The City Finance department is located in the City County building 426 North Main Street.
