With severe weather expected this weekend, we want everyone to be prepared. Please wrap any exposed outdoor pipes and leave cabinet doors open under sinks to allow warm air to circulate.
There is a strong possibility of power outages, so we encourage you to have flashlights, extra batteries, and a safe way to stay warm, as temperatures will be extremely cold. Please remember to bring pets indoors or ensure they have adequate shelter, warmth, food, and water during this time.
We also ask for your patience with our electric crews, who may be working in frigid conditions to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Likewise, please be patient with City employees as we work to keep everyone safe, clear roads, remove fallen limbs, and ensure water services continue uninterrupted.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please stay safe.
